A major part of my time at Bend All involved undertaking the GT GME-T6 TOC Validation project. I performed a wide range of mechanical tests to ensure transmission oil coolers (TOCS) meant to be used in the development of the upcoming GME-T6 Turbocharge Tornado engine met industry specifications . I was responsible for setting up and conducting a wide range of tests including burst tests, leak tests, and tensile tests. Additionally, I prepared and assembled manifolds for pressure temperature cycling (PTC) tests. I had to extract the data from said tests using Excel to assist in failure mode analysis initiatives.
I also was key in producing a crimp hose stem ID study for GM. This involved collecting various measurements and organizing data in Excel to help GM identify any manufacturing issues present in their parts.
